Claudia joined the University of Duisburg-Essen in June 2012. She studied at the University "Ca' Foscari" of Venice and at the University of Copenhagen. She graduated in Economics in 2010. Her master's thesis was titled "Market engineering: The case of kidney exchange". From 2009 to 2011 she worked as controller on a EU cofounded cross-border cooperation Programme. Afterwards she was awarded a traineeship at the European Commission, where she worked at the DG for Economic and Financial Affairs, in the field of structural reforms in the energy and transport sectors.
Fields of Research:
Claudia's research is devoted mainly to the analysis of early-life conditions and health and socioeconomic outcomes later in life.
